Purpose of the Inspection :

Types of Inspections :

1. Visual Check (by user, before every use)

• Confirm all parts are present and undamaged

• Base flat and stable, wheels locked

• Scaffold assembled according to instructions

2. Periodic Inspection (annual or more frequent in heavy use)
Performed by HTT-certified inspectors:

• Full check of all parts, connections, corrosion, and wear

• Optionally includes on-site assembly verification

3. Post-Modification / Relocation / Incident Inspection
If a scaffold is altered, moved, stored for a long period, or involved in a fall/incident, re-inspection is required before further use.

• Construction components: frames, rungs, braces, platforms, anti-slip surfaces

• Handrails & guardrails: completeness and secure attachment

• Wheels & stability: brake function, locking, stabilizers

• Assembly & use: correct height, load capacity, no missing/improvised parts

• Marking & documentation: serial number, inspection sticker, logbook entry

Inspection Frequency :

• At least once per year

• More often in heavy-use or outdoor environments

• Always after relocation, modification, or extended storage
