Hoisting & Lifting Equipment

Hoisting & Lifting Equipment Inspections – Stay Safe and Compliant

If your hoisting and lifting equipment fails, the consequences can be severe: accidents, injuries, downtime, and even legal penalties.

Under the Dutch Working Conditions Act and Commodities Act, entrepreneurs are responsible for ensuring their equipment is maintained and inspected on time. At HTT, we help you meet those requirements—while keeping your workplace safe and your operations running smoothly.

The 3 Levels of Inspection :

1. Daily User Inspection
Before every use, operators must visually check for defects or damage. This quick check ensures safety for both the user and the environment.

2. Annual Expert Inspection
Once a year, an HTT expert examines your equipment to determine if it is safe to use for the coming year.

  • We assess wear, intensity of use, and usage method.

  • If needed, we may shorten the validity period to reduce risks.

3. Four-Yearly Full Test
Every four years, hoisting and lifting equipment must undergo a professional load test against strict rejection criteria. Based on the results, equipment is either:

  • ✅ Approved for continued use

  • 🔧 Repaired and retested

  • ❌ Rejected for safety reasons
